I made this small 7cm tall x 8cm diameter ceramic bowl on the potters wheel and added the relief decoration before bisque firing. The crystals are natural, and form in the surface of the glaze during the cooling phase of the firing, the pattern and design they make are entirely dependant on glaze mixture and firing schedules, making each piece unique. Brown and green crystals have been chosen for this piece to enhance the natural qualities of the plants.
