This is a stoneware vessel thrown originally for the crystalline glazes. However this is a reactive glaze. A shiny brown, needed to be added thinly, and an oxided mixture glaze on top. This can be copper green, iron cream, cobalt blue. For most of these pots, I chose the copper green which proved to be quite runny. Fired to 1280 this time in a gas kiln, with a reduction. h 11.5cm x w 7.5cm.
