A small stoneware bowl.
The inside has been glazed with the traditional Japanese nuka glaze, a combination of wood ash, rice husk ash and flint. This gives an off white ground, with streaks of blue, green and brown as impurities run down the glaze during firing. The outside just has a simple wash that gives a slight sheen and brings out the colour of the clay, with some runs of glaze down from the rim.
Ideal for a small side salad, desserts or for putting snacks out on.
