Most of my pots are decorative or functional domestic pieces, though I am also doing increasing numbers of sculptural pieces. Many of my pieces have loose, organic forms and surfaces. I use the wheel and hand build, and fire in an electric or a gas kiln, and wood fire when possible. I also enjoying exploring glaze chemistry, and the technicalities of ceramics. I teach courses on technical subjects, such as electrical kilns and firing; product safety; and studio health and safety.
