This is the smallest version of my Hanging Garden series (they are available in 3, 4 & 5 well sizes). All are slab formed stoneware pieces that are mounted onto a seasoned piece of oak from my father-in-law’s farm. The oak is untreated and can be varnished, sealed or stained to your own satisfaction, or left as it is – after 70 years of being stored it is stable. Each is made with grogged stoneware clay, fired to 1260C which means they are non-porous. I’ve planted my own up with sempervivums as they need little water and unlike some of the aeonium plants don’t grow fast and send a large projecting flower stem out!
They are all glazed inside and out and are available in either a Blue, Green gloss glaze.
The prices for the 4 well Gardens is £50.00 and for the 5 well Gardens is £60.
