Paul Jenkins Raku Sculptures

Paul’s Inspirations come from his love of nature especially animals. Many of his pieces are inspired from direct observations of wild animals in their natural habitat.

Every sculpture is unique, handmade and raku fired

it is impossible to produce two which are identical.

All ingredients are from the UK

Every sculpture large or small takes approximately 3 weeks to make.

Each one is hand crafted from a unique formulated clay.

Bisque fired to a high temperature in a kiln.

Glazed and kiln fired for a second time.

Fired for a third time in a specially built Raku kiln.

Soaked in a formulated solution cleaned and dried.
