I create decorative ceramic tiles inspired by the nature. In my work I try to capture the objects, textures and patterns I see around me.

I didn’t train as a ceramic artist, I actually did my degree in multimedia design. I have always however, enjoyed exploring new technologies and learning new skills.  Clay genuinely fascinates me, its a labour of love and rewarding when it goes to plan.

All of my tile ideas start life as a sketch, I then spend a significant amount of time developing these sketches into a template. I press mould the template onto hand rolled clay slabs before firing in a kiln. Glass is used to finish all of the large tiles as I love the depth of colour.
