The Sedgley demonstration by Tim Andrews at the Jubilee Scout Hall, Sedgley, Dudley, West Midlands DY3 3UA.  The demonstration will start at 11.00 am.  Please contact Geoff Townsend on 01902 678525 or email: pottery@talktalk.net to reserve your place.  Further details will be announced soon.

Our annual pit firing day has been moved to September for this year to allow Ken Palmer to recover his health somewhat.

Please contact Ken on 01543 415186 or email: kenatcourtyard@talktalk.net or email: admin@midlandspotters.co.uk  if you intend to come. It will totally depend upon the weather and how many people want to pit fire. The work must have been biscuit fired beforehand, preferably burnished and wrapped for the pit.  A Raku firing may also be possible.  Bring your own lunch on this activity day rather than a shared buffet.  Further information will be emailed nearer to the date.  Once again this meeting is open to everyone.

The AGM in the community room (next to the restaurant) in John Lewis department store in central Birmingham.  It will be from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. (if necessary). It is easy to access from the train station.  More details later.  Please note that the membership fees go up this year on October 1st.  £26 for a single membership and £44 for two potters who work together (workshop).  If you pay by Standing Order, please make sure that you have changed the amount.

Demonstration by Paul Young at Banners Gate Community Hall, Sutton Coldfield B73 6UR. The meeting will start at 10.30 am. and finish at 4.00 pm.  Please bring your own lunch.  Contact admin@midlandspotters.co.uk or 0121 605 4947 to book your ticket - £12 for members and £17 for non-members.  Please see Demonstrations page for more information about Paul Young.
