MPA 2010 – 30th. Anniversary Year Events.

 

In order to make demonstrations and workshops more accessible to all the members, the committee has decided to spread these events out over the year using venues that will be cheaper than Pendrell Hall, so that tickets to these events can be more affordable. Most of the events will be of one day duration but we may need to organise a weekend event with members organising their own accommodation if necessary. Perhaps some members could generously provide B&B to those members (or non-members) who need to travel from further a field. The committee has some excellent demonstrators already lined up, such as Eddie Curtis, Morgan Hall and Karin Hessenberg.

 

20th March 2010 - Eddie Curtis Demonstration

At King Edward’s School, Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham B15 2UA

11.00 am. - 4.30 pm. Ample parking in the school grounds and good access by bus and train (Birmingham University stop) nearby. Please bring your own lunch. Only drinks and biscuits will be provided.

Tickets - £15 MPA members, £20 non members

15th May 2010 - Karin Hessenberg Demonstration

11.00 am. - 4.30 pm. Tickets and information as above from The Secretary.

 

Further demonstrations are being arranged with Morgan Hall and John Wheeldon (Raku firing) at the same venue.

The selection for this exhibition took place in November 2009.

Please be aware that the private view of this exhibition will be the start of our 30th Anniversary celebrations.

 

Exhibition at Milton Keynes University.

6th September 2010 - 30th September 2010.

Please deliver work on Friday 3rd September and collect on Friday 1st October 2010.
